The Stress Reduction Program
Our approach is called Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) . It is based on principles and programs developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD at the Center for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Herbert Benson, MD at the Mind-Body Institute of Harvard Medical School.
MBSR training develops your ability to respond with awareness rather than automatic ways of reacting, expand your mental and emotional resilience, manage stress more effectively, and to find stability in the face of complex situations.

Our program helps people to mobilize their own inner resources for healing and coping with the challenges of stress, chronic pain and illness, as well as the demands of everyday living in this challenging world. It does not take the place of medical treatment, but complements and supports it, allowing you to be an active participant in whatever treatment you are taking.
