Classes, Fees and Contact Information

Free Information Session

A free information session is held before the first class to give you a “taste” of mindfulness and an opportunity to better understand what the course is about, and to meet the instructor. The Information Session is free and attending does not obligate you in any way.  However, attendance is required in order for you to participate in the program.  Individual information sessions are available.

The Classes

This 8-week course meets for 1-1/2 to 2 hours a week, with a half-day retreat on a Saturday late in the course (a total of 20 hours of class-time). You will learn a variety of mindfulness–based exercises, including meditation and gentle yoga with mild stretching and relaxation exercises (no prior yoga experience is necessary).  The skills you will acquire ~ when practiced regularly ~ can improve your ability to stay focused and enable you to make conscious choices rather than simply react to challenges that confront you.  Loose and comfortable clothing is recommended.
